What data we collect and why

ExitPoint Skydiving is designed to collect as little data as possible. We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or profiling tools.

When you use ExitPoint Skydiving the following data processing occurs:

• Google Maps — Maps are powered by the Google Maps API. When maps load, Google receives your IP address and map interaction data in accordance with Google's own privacy policy. We do not control or have access to this data.
• Location and GPS — Several tools, including Inflight Mode, Flying Blind, and map-based tools, use your device's location while the app is open, to show your position, calculate distances, and support in-flight guidance. Location is only accessed while you're actively using the app, never in the background, and is not stored on our servers or linked to your account.
• QR code display — Some tools, including Find My Main and the XC tool's plan sharing, let you generate a QR code on screen so another person can scan it with their own device. ExitPoint Skydiving does not access your device's camera for this feature.
• Supabase — Our backend infrastructure is provided by Supabase. Your IP address is transmitted with API requests. If you create an account, your email address and a hashed password are stored securely on Supabase servers located in the European Union.
• Settings and preferences — Tool settings and preferences are stored locally in your browser using localStorage. This data never leaves your device.
• Cookies — We use one functional cookie to remember whether the sidebar is open or closed. This cookie is strictly necessary for the interface to work correctly and does not track you.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, use the feedback form in the app or contact us via the links in the footer. We will respond within 30 days.

Data retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app develops. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
